The Impact of Working from Home Induced by Covid 19 On Working Women in Harare, Zimbabwe

Working from home (WFH) can be a challenge as well especially in third world countries due to economic constrains some people cannot afford gadgets and internet. Women are not spared they involved multi-task. Drawing employee isolation literature, this paper aimed examine the impact of working on female employees during imposed lockdown. Qualitative research was employed in-depth interviews with 25 women different professions were conducted gather data. Purposive convenient sampling used select data analyzed using MAXQDA software. The finds out that, overtime their gender roles caregiver fact that mothers, daughters, aunt, sisters, daughter in-laws end up involving multi-task since at home, find it is difficult convince will ignore visitors hours known for hospitality role family hence resulting mental exhaustion. study recommended more studies carried assist policy makers way forward Covid 19 era.
